Position: Patient Services Representative II

EYE-Q Vision Care is seeking applicants for the position of Patient Services Representative ll. The ideal candidate is someone with great interpersonal skills who can develop relationships with patients and staff. This position works closely with patients and visitors conducting appointment check-ins and assisting with questions regarding appointments, insurance, and balances. These procedures will require a technologically savvy candidate with world class customer service experience.

Qualified candidates would be expected to:

• Greet patients and visitors (vendors, etc.) in a courteous and professional manner.

• Direct visitors to their destination.

• Cover both check-in and check-out processes.

• Receive patient requests for forms (DMV, etc.) and medical records and directing them to the appropriate staff to complete.

• Cover system dashboards for patient check-in which consists of: ensuring insurance verification, collecting outstanding balances, posting payments collected to practice management system, and balancing daily collections.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Knowledge of HIPPA regulations.

• Electronic Medical Records experience, preferably NextGen.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience
